As you leave Kinugawa-Onsen Station, you will see a statue of a demon holding a spiked club. This is Kinuta, the mascot of Kinugawa Onsen, and one of seven demon images around the town. Near the statue there is a free footbath called Kinuta-no-Yu.

Experience the Kinugawa River on a motorless boat guided by a skillful boatman. During the 40-minute ride, enjoy gentle stretches, thrilling moments on rapids, views of changing seasons, and diverse rock formations.

This 140-meter-long suspension bridge connects the resort town of Kinugawa Onsen with Tateiwa, a striking, shield-shaped rock formation. The bridge is about 40 meters above the Kinugawa River, affording great views of the river and surrounding greenery. Don't miss the colorful foliage in fall.

This pedestrian bridge across the Kinugawa River is at the center of the resort town, with views along the gorge in both directions. Don't miss the stairs leading to the bridge, painted with a mural of a red demon; one of the seven demons you can see around the town.
