A basic three-hour course from Tobu-Nikko Station covers the highlights of Akechidaira Ropeway and Nikko Toshogu Shrine, while other course options extend up to five hours and include more far-flung destinations such as Kanmangafuchi Abyss and Kegon Falls.

Nikko Kotsu is the most common taxi company in Nikko. Their deluxe taxis can accommodate up to five passengers, while their maxi-taxis accommodate up to nine for a slightly higher fee. Pricing is course-specific, but ranges from around 12,000 yen for a two-hour tour to 30,000 yen for a five-hour tour.
