節分
Setsubun marks the day before the start of springtime in Japan, and it is a day to celebrate the transition of the seasons. The main festivities (notably the ritual of mamemaki, or scattering beans) take place at Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Futarasan-jinja Shrine, and Nikkosan Rinno-ji Temple.
