In the spring of Nikko, sakura (cherry blossoms) and strawberries create a beautiful landscape. During this special season, the Nikko City Tourism Association presents "SAKURA AND STRAWBERRY PARADISE IN NIKKO". Please enjoy the spring that spreads throughout the city.

1. Taste the Spring of Nikko with Seasonal Gourmet During the period, participating restaurants and souvenir shops will offer special gourmet dishes using sakura and strawberries. With a pamphlet in hand, let's walk around the city in search of spring flavors. Don't miss out on the enjoyment of cherry blossom viewing spots and events.

2. Share Wonderful Memories with Socail madea Promotion Let's share the wonderful moments of "SAKURA AND STRAWBERRY PARADISE IN NIKKO" on social media! Follow the official Instagram or Facebook of the Nikko City Tourism Association and post a photo with specific hashtags to receive an original cotton bag as a gift! Let's share memories and enrich our travels.

Areas of Nikko

Central Nikko

The heart of Nikko combines World Heritage shrines and temples, traditional cuisine and crafts, and lush natural settings. Add a trip to this area to a stay in surrounding regions, such as Kinugawa Onsen.

Okunikko

Located in the center of Nikko National Park, Okunikko includes the marshlands of Senjogahara, Mt. Nantai, Lake Chuzenji, and Kegon Falls. The area has many hot spring retreats and inns.

Kinugawa-Kawaji Onsen

Set along the Kinugawa River, this area is one of Japan's most famous hot spring resorts. Beyond ryokan and hotels, there are theme parks and many natural attractions. Kinugawa is a good base for further Nikko adventures.

Ashio

Ashio is most famous for its copper mine, which flourished for over 400 years. Visitors can ride trolleys down the 700-meter long mining tunnel and get a feel for the mine as it once existed.
