Nikko Doll Museum
日光人形の美術館
The Nikko Doll Museum showcases over 450 dolls across three floors, including traditional Japanese ichimatsu-ningyo from the Edo period (1603-1867) outfitted in elaborate kimonos. Bisque dolls, modern-day dolls, and even delicate porcelain figures from Spain are also on display. The museum has a cafe where you can enjoy tea and desserts while looking out at the tranquil scenery of the Kinugawa Onsen area.
