武射祭
Mushasai is a traditional archery festival with which has been observed at Futarasan-jinja Shrine as far back as the 15th century. If a visitor manages to find and bring home an arrow shot towards Lake Chuzenji by the chief priests of the shrine, it’s said that they will enjoy good luck for the year.
*Mushasai Festival has been cancelled in 2021.
