Free Guided Tour is now available around World Heritage Shrines and Temples of Nikko.
Local guides will show you the highlights of “Nikko’s history and attractions”.
This tour will be guided from the outside of the shrines and temples, but the content of the tour is designed to make your visit more enjoyable when you visit the inside on your own after the tour.
Please feel free to join us on this tour to enhance your visit to Nikko.

Dates:
1) Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday in April, May, June, October, and November, 2026
*Guided tours are not available on April 2, October 1, and October 3 due to other events.
2) February 5 to 14, 2027
Reception Location:
1) Shiunkaku Hall (near Sanbutsudo Hall at Rinnoji Temple) *Address: 2300 Sannai, Nikko, Tochigi
2) Near the ticket gate in TOBU Nikko Station
Reception Hours:
1) 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM *Please note that reception may close early depending on guide availability.
2) 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM *The tour is held once a day.

1) About 1 hour
2) About 1 hour and 30 minutes
How to Join:
We don't take reservations, so please come to the reception desk on the day if you'd like to join a tour!
Reservations are not available for this tour. Tours depart as soon as participants have gathered, so arriving around 10:00 will usually allow you to join the first tour without waiting.
Notes:
Participation in the tour is free of charge. However, for the Winter Tour, a bus fare of 220 yen between the station and Shinkyo is required.
Donations are welcome from guests who wish to support the continuation of the tour.
