Refresh Your Soul: Day-Trip Onsen in Nikko

日光の日帰り温泉

Experience the ultimate relaxation after exploring Japan’s natural and historical wonders.
Nikko City is blessed with a vast variety of natural hot springs, known as "Onsen." Whether you’ve spent the morning marveling at the UNESCO World Heritage shrines and temples or hiking through the pristine trails of Nikko National Park, there is no better way to rejuvenate your body and mind than by soaking in these mineral-rich waters.

Why Experience Day-Trip Onsen in Nikko?
In Nikko, you don't need to stay overnight to enjoy the luxury of an onsen. Many facilities—from grand hotels to cozy, traditional Japanese inns (Ryokan)—open their baths to daytime visitors.

Post-Sightseeing Refreshment: Wash away the fatigue after walking through the Nikko Toshogu Shrine area.
Post-Hiking Recovery: Soothe your muscles in the milky-white sulfur waters of Yumoto after a trek in the mountains.
"Yu-meguri" (Onsen Hopping): Even if you are already staying at a local inn, we recommend trying different baths to experience the unique atmospheres and mineral compositions of each area.

Important Notice for Day-Trippers
Many of our day-trip onsen facilities are primarily operating as hotels or ryokans. Depending on their occupancy and guest bookings, day-trip access may be temporarily suspended or hours may change without prior notice.
*To ensure the best experience, we kindly ask that you check the facility's current operational status before your visit.
